1. Where the hall stands
Arcade Viking, kept by Arcade Viking ehf. company no. 20421-0160, is a social arcade built for amusement. Nobody gambles money here and nobody is paid a prize. Runes, the counters, are never cashed in, never turned into cash, goods or prizes, and never handed to anybody else.
Winning at a social arcade says nothing about how anyone would fare gambling for money. What happens at these benches is drawn at random, and it carries no lesson at all about games played for real stakes.
Even with nothing of value riding on it, a game shaped like this can swallow more time and attention than anybody intended, and a bundle costs real money. This page sets out our side of that, and yours.
2. Who may sit down
- Only people of eighteen or over, and everybody confirms it at the door before a bench opens.
- Nothing here — not a word, not a drawing, not a line of promotion — is aimed at children.
- Where a minor turns out to have been playing, or to have paid for a bundle, we act on it, and money spent without permission goes back.
- For parents and guardians: the controls inside a device or a browser will shut this site out altogether, and store or card settings can demand a password before any payment goes through.
3. What is built in
- A reminder. 35 minutes of unbroken play brings one up, and it returns at every stretch afterwards.
- No autoplay. Every round begins because a hand began it. Nothing turns, deals or rolls to a timer.
- Free Runes, permanently. Between the daily gift and the lift off a thin hoard, carrying on never waits on a purchase.
- A ceiling on spending. Buying stops at US$90 inside a calendar month.
- Published odds. Each bench prints its rules and its whole paytable next to the table, and all eight sit together on the odds page. Outcomes come off an even-handed generator, and a near miss is never staged.
- No pressure. No countdown offers, no notifications, no marketing mail, no streak anybody forfeits by leaving.
- A reset. The hoard goes back to 15,000 Runes from any bench page, whenever you want it to.
4. Money, and bundles
- Settle what a month of amusement is worth to you before buying anything, then hold that line.
- Keep in mind what a Rune actually is. More of them improves the size of a number and not one thing besides.
- Hang on to the receipts, and read your statements.
- Bought something in error, or regretted it after? Fourteen days to send word — section 7 of the Terms covers it.
- Ask us to bar buying tied to your address or your card and it is done inside two working days. No explanation is wanted.
5. Signs worth watching
Standing back, and talking to somebody, may be worth it where you find that you:
- sit down for ten minutes and stand up three hours later;
- put more into bundles than intended, or keep the figure to yourself;
- feel edgy, short-tempered or flat during the hours you are not playing;
- reach for a bench to get away from a mood or a problem rather than for the game itself;
- catch yourself wondering about real stakes on the strength of how the counters have fallen;
- let work, study, sleep or people slide to make room for it.
6. Resting, or stopping
- Shut the tab. The hoard waits — or reset it first and leave nothing behind at all.
- Turn the screen-time or site-blocking tools on your device against arcadeviking.com, for however long you choose.
- Have us bar buying, as set out above.
- Arcade Viking keeps no accounts, so there is no individual login for us to lock. What we can do is walk you through the options above. Ask, and we will.
