What the crew builds

Arcade Viking is a row of casino-styled benches that run in any current browser with no plugin, no install and no account behind them. Three stone drums on Runestone Reels, twenty-one at Fjord 21, a wheel of thirty-seven pockets, a five-card draw, a rise-or-fall card run, two bones, a bag of thirty-six runes and four longships on open water. The rules, the drawings and the engines were all made here.

Every bench is wagered in Runes. Runes keep score and manage nothing else: never withdrawn, never redeemed, never entered in a draw, never moved between players. That is the whole model, and it is not a phase the hall plans to grow out of.

What the crew will not build

• Gambling for money in any shape, deposits and withdrawals among them
• Prizes, sweepstakes, raffles, giveaways or prize ladders
• Links to, adverts for, or sign-up routes into places that take real stakes
• Any suggestion that somebody might earn, save or win something of value here
• Machinery for chasing losses: no autoplay, no countdown offers, no notifications

How the hall pays for itself

Rune bundles, and nothing besides. No advertising runs here, no counting or advertising cookie is written, and nothing about anybody is sold or handed over for marketing. Buying stops at US$90 a month, and free Runes arrive daily regardless, so carrying on never waits on a purchase.

Four rules the crew builds by

1. Readable

   Rules and the whole paytable sit beside the table, never behind a menu or a tooltip.

2. Straight draws

   Outcomes come off the cryptographic generator in your browser. No odds are tuned and no near miss is staged.

3. Deliberate

   Each round begins because a hand began it. Autoplay is absent on purpose, not by oversight.

4. Interruptible

   A rest reminder arrives after 35 minutes at a bench, and at every stretch after that.
