Terms

Standing from 12 September 2026

1. Who keeps the hall

Arcade Viking, published at arcadeviking.com (below, "the Hall"), belongs to Arcade Viking ehf. company no. 20421-0160 of Víkurbraut 20, 780 Höfn, Iceland — "we" and "us" from here on. Write to contact@arcadeviking.com or use the word-sending page.

2. Taking these terms on

Opening the Hall takes these terms on, along with Privacy, Storage and Player Care. Where any of it does not suit, the remedy is a plain one: close the tab.

3. Age, and where you stand

  • Eighteen is the floor, or higher where the age of majority around you is higher.
  • Nobody should open the Hall from a place that forbids social arcade games. Working that out falls to you.
  • We may ask for age to be confirmed, and may hold back or withdraw entry wherever we judge these conditions unmet.

4. What is offered

Eight casino-styled benches, free to play, built for amusement. Each is wagered in Runes, the counters described in section 6, and each prints its rules and its paytable on the page where it is played. Every paytable is also gathered on the odds page.

5. What is not offered

Nobody gambles money in this Hall, and no prize of any description can be won here. Nothing is deposited, nothing is wagered in currency, nothing is withdrawn and nothing is cashed in. No outcome at any bench earns a claim to money, goods, services, vouchers, tokens or anything else carrying value.

Neither does the Hall carry links to, advertising for, or sign-up routes into any operation that takes real stakes. Winning at a social arcade says nothing about how anyone would fare gambling for money.

6. The Runes currency

  • Wagers are laid in "Runes". What you receive is a licence to use them in the Hall: personal, limited, revocable, and impossible to pass on. Runes are not owned by you, and they are neither money, nor electronic money, nor any kind of financial instrument.
  • A Rune is worth nothing in the world outside. It is never cashed in, redeemed, sold, turned into money, goods, services, vouchers or prizes, entered in a draw, a raffle or a sweepstake, or moved to another person.
  • Free Runes arrive three ways: an opening 15,000, a daily 6,000, and a lift to 2,500 any time the hoard falls under 300. Those figures may be revised, with notice given in the Hall.
  • Local storage in your browser holds the hoard. No account is attached to it, and it goes if site data is cleared, if a private window is used, or if the machine or the browser changes. Free Runes are past our power to restore, for the plain reason that we never held them.
  • A hoard produced by a fault, a bug or deliberate meddling may be put back to what it should have been.

7. Buying a bundle

Buying is possible in the Hall. Bundles of Runes may be bought at will. No bundle is needed to play anything, and no corner of the Hall is fenced off for people who buy one.

  • Who may. Anyone of eighteen or over entitled to use the card or account presented.
  • What lands. The stated quantity of Runes, added to the hoard in whichever browser made the purchase. Odds, paytables and features are untouched by it, and the Runes carry no value outside.
  • Price, and tax. Every price appears in US dollars ahead of confirmation. Conversion is a matter between you and your bank, and tax may be added according to where you are.
  • The ceiling. Buying stops at US$90 within a calendar month.
  • The payment itself. A payment provider handles it under its own terms. Full card details neither reach us nor rest with us.
  • Delivery at once. A bundle is digital content handed over immediately. Where a statutory right of withdrawal belongs to you, the till will ask you to consent to immediate delivery and to accept that the right lapses the moment the Runes land.
  • Money back. Beyond that, a purchase stands, unless a law says otherwise, unless the bundle never arrived, or unless a minor bought it unsupervised. Send word inside fourteen days of a mistake and it gets a fair hearing.
  • Reversed payments. Where a payment is pulled back after the event, the Runes it paid for may go with it.

None of this narrows the rights consumer law hands you where you live.

8. Conduct at a bench

Undertakings given by playing:

  • no bots, no scripts, no automation aimed at a bench, and no editing of hoards, storage keys or game code;
  • no selling, trading, gifting or advertising of Runes, and nothing of value offered in return for them;
  • no using the Hall to push gambling operations, prize schemes or anything else at other visitors;
  • no interference with how the Hall runs or how it is secured, and no probing it for weaknesses without our agreement in writing;
  • no breaking, while here, of any law that applies to you.

9. Outcomes and faults

Outcomes come from the generator built into your browser, under the rules and the paytable printed beside each bench. Where a malfunction, a mis-drawn screen or a bug throws up an outcome or a hoard that should not have happened, that round counts for nothing and the hoard may be corrected.

10. Who owns what is here

The Hall, the Arcade Viking name and mark, the names of the benches, the drawings, the writing and the code are ours or licensed to us by somebody else. Use them for playing here, personally, and not commercially. No name, mark or brand element belonging to a real casino appears anywhere in the Hall.

11. Uptime, and change

We do what we can to keep the Hall standing, without promising it never stops. Benches, features, free Rune figures and bundle contents may be added to, altered or taken away. Where an alteration materially affects Runes somebody paid for, notice goes up in the Hall beforehand wherever that is reasonably possible.

12. Disclaimers and liability

The Hall comes as it is, for amusement. So far as the law allows, we do not answer for indirect or consequential loss, for free Runes that go missing, or for damage flowing from events we could not reasonably control. For any claim touching the Hall, what we can owe you in total stops at whatever you paid us for bundles across the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing written here removes a liability that cannot lawfully be removed — among them liability for death or injury arising from negligence, liability for fraud, and your rights as a consumer.

13. Barring and closing

You may walk out of the Hall whenever you like. We may narrow or end entry, buying included, where these terms are broken, where fraud or underage use is suspected, or where a law requires it. Since Runes carry no money value, nothing falls due for Runes lost that way, apart from a refund already owed under section 7 or by law.

14. Law, and disagreement

The law of the place where Arcade Viking ehf. company no. 20421-0160 is registered governs these terms. As a consumer you keep the compulsory protections of your own country as well, and you may bring a case there. Do write first, though — nearly everything settles faster by letter than by anybody's court.

15. Later edits

These terms are edited from time to time. The date at the head of this page names the standing version, and anything significant is flagged in the Hall. Carrying on here after an edit takes the edited terms on. Questions go to Arcade Viking ehf. company no. 20421-0160, Víkurbraut 20, 780 Höfn, Iceland, contact@arcadeviking.com.
