Questions
Nineteen of the ones that arrive most often. If yours is missing, send it over and an answer comes back inside two working days.
At the benches
Is Arcade Viking free the whole way through?
It is. The opening 15,000 Runes, the daily gift of 6,000 and the lift whenever the hoard falls under 300 cover all eight benches for as long as anybody cares to sit at them. Bundles are an extra and are never required.
Who may sit down?
People of eighteen and over. Everyone confirms it at the door before a bench opens. Where social arcade games are restricted by local law, please respect that and stay away.
Is there anything to install, or an account to make?
Neither. The benches are ordinary web pages and the hoard is held by your browser. No app, no registration, no password.
How is an outcome decided?
Each one is drawn with the cryptographic generator built into your browser. Card benches shuffle fresh virtual decks. Nothing is weighted by the size of your hoard, by anything you bought, or by how long you have been playing.
Why is there no autoplay?
Because a round ought to be something a person chooses. Leaving autoplay out keeps the pace in your hands and makes it easier to stand up.
What do the two wager keys do?
They step the wager between 25 and 6,000 Runes. The amount leaves the hoard when the round begins and whatever is due comes back when it settles.
What is the house edge?
It differs by bench and it is visible in every paytable, all of which are gathered on the odds page. None of it matters financially, because none of it is money — but publishing the figures beats pretending the benches are even.
Which bench is friendliest to a small hoard?
Raven Draw and Fjord 21 hand back the most over a long sitting. Runecast 36 and Longship Race swing hardest in both directions. The odds page sets all eight side by side.
Runes and bundles
What exactly is a Rune?
A counter this hall prints to keep score. It holds no value in the world outside. It cannot be withdrawn, turned into money, goods, services or prizes, entered in a draw or a sweepstake, or handed to another player.
Can anybody win money or a prize here?
No. Nobody gambles money at Arcade Viking and no prize of any kind is given out. Winning at a social arcade says nothing about how anyone would fare gambling for money.
What is in a bundle?
Runes, and only Runes. Bundles begin at US$2.29 and add to the hoard in the browser that bought them. A bundle shifts no odds, lengthens no paytable and unlocks nothing.
Is spending limited?
It is. Buying stops at US$90 within a calendar month, and only grown people may buy.
Can money come back?
Refunds fall under section 7 of the Terms and the consumer law where you live. Where a bundle was bought in error, send word inside fourteen days and describe what happened.
I cleared my browser and the hoard went with it. Can it be restored?
Free Runes, no. They were never on our servers, so there is nothing to restore, and the hall simply starts you again on 15,000. Bought Runes are a different matter: send the order reference and it gets sorted.
Can a hoard move to a friend, or to another machine?
No. There is no passing Runes between players and no syncing between machines, because there are no accounts to sync between.
Privacy, safety and stopping
What personal data is held?
Very little. Personal data arrives only when somebody writes in, alongside the ordinary server logs any website keeps. The hoard, the age confirmation and the storage choice all stay on the machine. Privacy has the detail.
How does somebody take a rest, or stop for good?
Close the tab whenever. A reminder comes up after 35 minutes at a bench in any case. To stop altogether, Player Care explains how to shut the site out on a device and how to have buying barred.
How is a child kept off the site?
Use the parental controls in the device or the browser, and keep means of payment behind a password or a fingerprint. Where a minor has bought a bundle, write in and the money goes back.
Does the hall send marketing mail?
No. We answer what is sent to us and that is the whole of it. There is no list and no promotional mail.
Arcade Viking opens to people of eighteen and over and exists for amusement. Nothing is staked in cash, nothing is paid out in cash, and buying Runes is always a choice.
